Niki Carse

Niki Carse was born in Burns Lake, BC and grew up in the northern interior. At the ripe age of 18, she packed her VW bug and moved to Jasper for two years.  Next she moved to Vancouver where she’s lived for the past 10 years.

Niki began her fine art education at Capilano College where she met Sam Kwan, a ceramic master, instructor and true friend. The ceramic program at Cap sparked Niki’s passion for ceramics. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design where she explored multiple disciplines including sculpture, oil & acrylic painting and functional ceramics.

Niki resides in the South Granville area of Vancouver along “Gallery Row” with her fiancé Clayton and her beloved sidekick, Kitty.

“Coming from a conceptual school, we want to bring it back to functionality. We focus on a mod, minimal theme.”
